James Reves Males 16 & up (1) Males under 16 (1) Females (5), on same page are Abner Reve Sr. & Abner Reves Jr.

Note: James and Sarah's place of marriage has been referenced as Fayette Co., PA about 1770, however Fayette county was organized from Westmoreland Co. in 1784, thus it is more likely they were married Westmoreland Co., Pennsylvania IF Sarah was James second wife, If Sarah Van Meter was James first & only wife, then both of the above references are incorrect. From the above tax records James Reeves was in New Jersey until at least 1785 before coming to Westmoreland Co. Pennsylvania. The question remains, was Sarah, wife of James Reeves a Van Meter and If so was she his first and only wife or his second wife.

Note: From Barbara Morey " James and Sarah Reeves and Morgan and Issac Van Meter are together in transactions in Brooke County, VA, now W VA."

James settled in Sandy Twp, Stark Co, Ohio in 1806.
